About the Artist

Ever since I was a child, I’ve told my mom “my fingers need to be busy.” Since then I’ve been crafting and experimenting with all kinds of art and mediums. In my second semester at the University of Tampa, I fell in love with the craftsmanship of printmaking thanks to my professor and mentor Ali Norman. In the Spring of 2019, I helped Ali create and open a community gallery and maker space called Labyrinth Studios from which I learned to teach workshops, create editions on a letterpress, run events, and become involved and ingrained in the art community in Tampa, Florida.

My recent works have focused on honoring tradition and the creative process, which holds just as much value to me as the final original piece. While studying for my Bachelor of Fine Arts, I expanded my practice in analog printmaking techniques from intaglio to relief to letterpress, as well as created digital illustrations and graphic apparel art. I am always excited to share this medium with others who are inspired to learn.
